The Kingdom
Seekers Quartet is a Southern Gospel quartet based in Murray
County, Georgia. The original group was formed in 1988 by
four guys who were all members of the same church. They
began with the intention of singing only occasionally at their
church. However, the Lord has proven over the years that
He had other things in mind. Through their love for Him
and their desire to serve Him with the gift of music He has
given to them, He has opened doors for them to sing for many
organizations. They are one of the groups that sings
regularly on the Southern Belle Riverboat in Chattanooga.
They have opened for well known groups such as Newsong.
But to them, the real joy is simply being able to lift their
voices in worship and praise to their Savior. |

Even though
there is only one original member of the group left, the great
thing is that they know that it's not about the makeup of the
group. The "main thing" is the group's willingness to
surrender their time, talents and hearts to God's will.
Whether in a concert venue in front of thousands of people, in a
small country church in front of fifteen or twenty people, or
just in rehearsal singing to no one but the Lord, they have
always born one truth in mind. The reason that they sing
is to do God's will, using the talents with which He has blessed
them. Their purpose is to praise Him, worship Him, and
most of all witness in His name to all who allow them.
They believe He has blessed their ministry for that reason.
Their earnest prayer is that God will help them to stand ready
to go wherever He leads, but only where He leads. As long
as they are willing to be used by Christ, they believe He will
continue to use them. They would ask you, as a fellow
Christian, to simply remember them in prayer from time to time,
and ask God to help them to always stand in a way that will only
bring honor and glory to Him. |
